When people hear that I am a wedding photographer, they immediately assume that it is a stressful job. But it's not, not for me anyways. I believe that weddings are what you make them.

When you get down to it, weddings are about storytelling. My job is about paying attention and capturing the truth.
Your wedding is not about me, my vision, or my portfolio. It's not about my timeline or my shot list. Every moment of your wedding day should be fully lived and enthusiastically enjoyed, I'm there to observe and preserve. How to best do this depends on the circumstance. The majority of a wedding day is spent unobtrusively documenting. But other times, there is a need for me to lead and direct, which I'm glad to do.
Most couples come to me looking for beautiful candid photos and portraits that don't look stiff or posed, and I love to deliver. But there are a hundred other things that you can't anticipate, like how hectic arranging family portraits can be, and I've got that covered too. That's what I bring to the table after eleven years of photographing weddings.
